If you travel west from Portland on Oregon Highway 26 to Highway 6 (Wilson River Highway) towards Tillamook, you will find "Fox Hollow Antique Stoves " nestled on the banks of Gales Creek between mile post 41 and 40.

You won't find a sign stating "this is the place", as Gary Davis relies on word of mouth and reputation to keep the business going that he's been doing since the 1970's.

Occupying a shop, a new showroom, and numerous outbuildings on his property, the process of restoring a stove can be as simple as wire brushing and polishing, or as complicated as a complete disassembly, repair work as needed, and nickel work done using the old style, done by Oregon Plating formerly owned by Gary. Restoring antique wood stoves is a dirty job, but as you can see, the results are well worth it.

From Portland, "The City Of Roses", take Highway 26 (Sunset Highway) west for 20 miles. Bear left at Banks,Tillamook, OR 6 exit.Take OR 6 west for 12 miles, you'll see the suspended foot bridge on the right side of the highway. Walk across and you are here!
