Gary Davis has been
collecting primarily Round Oak Stoves and has shared
his love for these heirlooms for almost 30 years.
His passion for the stoves grew so much he bought
Oregon Plating in the 70's, to do his own nickel
work. He just recently retired from there and sold
the business.
He now concentrates on buying across the U S
and restoring. He has restored stoves that have
provided their new owners with a comforting source
of heat and a conversation piece. A complete
restoration can take from 3 to 6 months. He
selectively restores whole units, mostly of his own
finding, and uses original replacement and ornaments
when needed. |
